TOPIC: Woods at Fairbanks in Morrisville

We are interested in this new community by stanpac. Wondering if anyone have inputs on the area and the schools?

Hi Kumar, my buyer just signed a Contract there. The area (the intersection of 54 & Cary Pkwy) is central and has great shopping nearby and easy access to I-40 etc. The schools are pretty good (older schools). Please email/call me if you like to discuss further about this or any community here in the Triangle.

Joe - When you refer to the older schools as pretty good..how does that compare to the apex/w cary schools? One of my neighbors told me that if I buy in apex - the schools are guaranteed but near the cary/morrisville area there are very vulnerable to change...

Any one have thoughts on this?

May I know how I can find out which schools would be assigned based on the new construction? How can I find out Which schools are woods@fairbanks assigned to? And whether those will not change.

Based on info I have, the schools are Northwoods Elem (or Morrisville Elem, calendar option), West Cary Middle (or E Cary option) and Cary High. No guarantee these won't change.

this community definitely seems to be over priced considering that these schools are relatively poor compared to the newer West Cary/Apex schools.

To me West Cary/Apex seems to be a much better bet... Excellent schools are pretty much guaranteed because they can still take more students.
