TOPIC: Moving (seriously considering) to Raleigh

Hello folks,
we are considering moving to Raleigh area next summer (from chicago) and I wanted to find out if someone can take a minute or two to advise me about the locations I should look into to settle down. I have a daughter who will be school-ready starting next academic year. so, a good school district is a requirement for us besides a safe neighborhood.
