TOPIC: Waterford Apartment review ?

Hi,

I am looking for an apartment in the Morrisville/Cary area. I came across Waterford apartments and found the rent to be cheaper. However, I read a negative reviews on apartmentratings.com and other places.

I'd like to know what you guys think and if there are any specific problems related to:
- security
- water bills being extremely high
- any pest / bed bug infestation

I live out of town and need to move in by first week of july. Thus, I need to take a quick decision.

I'd appreciate any help.

Also, if you have any other recommendations. Please let me know. (my requirement: 1 Bedroom. rent about 500-650 for 6 mo lease)

We lived in waterford & management gave us a very hard time at time of moving out.........basically took away our deposit & also we ended up paying another 500$ in name of some maintenance..............PLEASE STAY AWAY from WATERFORD.

I see. I checked back with them and they are now charging a non-refundable fee of 300$. They told me that I don't have to clean the apartment when I move out. Though, I'm sure they might add some fee in the end.

How were the apartments at the time when you were living there ? Did you have any infestation problems ?

I am also looking at Marquis on Cary Pkwy. Does anyone have any feedback on that ?

Also, can anyone recommend me some not-so-expensive 1BR apartment ?

You can consider Marquis on Cary Parkway for the same range. I know guys who are living there in single bed apartment.

Marquis on Cary Parkway charges around $80 as Non-Refundable deposit.

We live in Marquis and deposit is based on your credit history check.

We live at bexlay park which is less than 1 mile. these are good apartments with lot of indian population. I lived here for past 2 yrs. And we have a 1 bedroom vacant in front of our apartment. send me a private msg if u need more info. We had no problem with anything here.

I'm looking for apartments in Orlando online. I've read the reviews at apartment ratings.com, but has anyone out there actually seen the Tortuga Bay at Waterford? Are they safe to live in? Are there any reasonably priced, pet friendly, lower crime area apartments to live in? Thanks for your help.
