M P Topic Author	We have recently moved to Cary and have liked an apartment in Preston, Cary. This is a 2 bed/2 bath with an attached garage. The total sq ft is 1650 incl the garage. The rent quoted is $1015. Is this reasonable or over-priced?

Rent is reasonable for a 1650 sq ft apartment. I didn't know that such a big apartment with only 2 BR.

If you are looking for a good value then there are many 2 BR apartments that range from $700 to $850. However they are about 800 to 1100 sq ft and does not include garage.

Another option is townhomes. You get a 3BR town home with a single garage for that price.

satish Offline Posts: 458	Yes. I believe it is one of the very safe neighbourhood to live. Also, you can call Cary Police to learn about the safety/crime rates of a particular neighbourhood.

satish Offline Posts: 458	Shivani, I do not know about the TH's that comes under Davis Drive middle school. There are couple of subdivisions in Morrisville that you can rent for about 1,000 - Breckenridge is one and another one was on church street. Thanks Satish

Shalini,

Since you are in the real estate could you please let me know if it is still possible to avail $ 8,000 tax credit on purchase of a home if the deal is closed before June 30 ? There was a verbal agreement around Apr 20 between seller & self on the price and now I do not know where to find the information.
