TOPIC: After school option

I am new to Cary and the after school options are bit confusing. How do you like the YMCA after school programs in most of the schools? What do the kids get to do? Are there any bullying or unsafe events that anybody knows about?

Also, what happens if 2 kids are in different schools (1 in middle and 1 in elementary) - is there a better alternative for after care where both kids can be transported to?
Please advise.

YMCA is a easy and relatively affordable option. I just think of it as extended recess but kids theoretically could do homework with the help of counsellors. I have not heard of any bullying incidents.
