TOPIC: DWI defense help recommendation

I recently got charged with a DWI, and am looking for legal help for defense.
Does any body know of best possible resources and implications on your visa status if convicted?

Though I am not best person to answer this but as far as I remember, your visa can be revoked. My uncle who assisted a DUI lawyer told me one such similar case where the visa of that person got revoked.

This is completely untrue that a DWI would lead to a visa cancellation but yes this will create problems for you for visa renew and green card.

Hire a good lawyer and try to reduce the severity of the case or get the charges dropped.

If you are on non-immigrant visa and are convicted with DUI your visa will be revoked. Read page 3-4 of the recently released agenda by the government.
