TOPIC: Hasya Kavi Sammelan 2010

Hasya Kavi Sammelan organized by International Hindi Association and Hindi Vikas Mandal was held at HSNC,Morrisville on April 30th 2010.The event was very successful with 600 plus audience.Here are some of the pictures from the event. Thanks to Suvas Shah for providing many of these pictures.


The program started with a very happy news. Triangle's own poet, Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra's new book Dhoop Se Rooti Chandni was released. As you know Dr. Sudha Om Dhingra publishes her short stories and blogs on ApnaTriangle.

Haasya Samraat ARUN GEMINI of Delhi is a famous poet and a leading star in India. He is a maestro of humor with impeccable timing and delivery who has entertained millions of people all across the globe.



Mahendra Ajanabi, also of Delhi, is a leading satirist of eminence in India. Along with laughter, his haasya-vyang contains a deep penetrating satire.



Film 'Vivah' fame AashKaran Atal of Mumbai is a distinguished and gifted poet known for his unique style of humor and satire. He is a renowned film lyricist, writer, and director.

The featured poets have participated in countless national and international Kavi Sammelans including at India's prestigious Red Fort, DCM, Indian Oil, Attahaas, Patanjali, Yogpeeth, Akshram, Sangeet Kala Mandir, and Janta Ki Pukar, and have enthralled the audiences in USA, UK, Australia, Russia, China, Pakistan, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Nepal, Bhutan, UAE, Muscat, Oman, and Dubai with their poetry. They have recited in many radio and TV programs including BBC London, NDTV, ZeeTV, Sony, Door-Darshan, and All India Radio, and have written film scripts and songs for TV serials and TV movies. They are widely published in all major Hindi magazines, and have received many prestigious awards and honors by various organizations in India and abroad, including the President's civilian award.



It was a full house, audience enjoyed the program for more than three hours.
