In retrospect,
As for me, just me, its not easy to go on stage and perform. That itself is a win.
Its not easy to organise an event with 1200+ audience and few volunteers. So, I think it went well.

I am glad that Sakhi Group got prize. I won the bet against my wife. ;p

Manoj ji is absolutely right in saying that the kids do not deserve our criticism or patronage. I think the spirit behind his observation is that let the kids grow & blossom at their own pace. Dance performances is not the be all & end all of child development.

Let us also for a moment pray for the young and innocent 9 yr old girl who lost her life in the senseless tragedy at Arizona.

Read again. I did not give any feedback on the program. It was just a comment on your feedback, followed by an advice for the next year.

Also, I agree with Veejay that it's not easy to perform on stage in front of a large audience especially those as critical as yourself.

I think you guys need something to chew everyday. Better start a new thread for your unnecessary and stupid arguments rather than spoiling this thread.

@Admins, Please separate this thread or have a different thread only for the performance videos.

Do you have kids?

Performing on stage itself is a daunting task. Try it if you can. Even though kids did not perform to your expectations, it is best to encourage them to do better. Criticism does not help. Keep in mind they only practice AN HOUR IN A WEEK. The kids are not spending all their time just on preparing for this program.

Also I appreciate all the parents who take them to practice sessions driving to different parts of the town. Of course people who organize and teach them, we all know how difficult it their task.

If you have kids who perform in this programs, you would understand my point otherwise not.
