Can anyone suggest good tofu receipe

I personally like to slive them.marinat ethem in turmeric,chili,salt an dpper and fry them..afterthat u can use them as much as any way u want..on top of noodles,rice noodles..fried rice or even make a curry like masal type out of it.
My mom likes to gring dry fried peanuts on top of the tofu masala for a more fresh bite taste.
U may wanna try sweet n sour style with the peanuts grinded in or as the normal potato masala type but replacing the potato into tofu's.Good luck

If u take egg..there is also some egg tofu or tofu wrapped in like the polenta style long bags..they r a differ kinda tofy where u can fry them on egg omlet ,with green onions,chillies and taste yummy as well

Bini...use extra firm tofu just like our Paneer...Also I use tofu to make different paratha dough..use tofu instead of water...Make Tofu bhurjee like Egg bhurjee.

I am coming from Harris Teeter and today first time I picked up Extra firm cubed Tofu..I will let you know what I cook.

Bini...today weather was dull and rainy...evening got cravings for some bhajia..I started with Onion Bhajia plan but ended up giving it twist by adding cubed tofu. Onion Tofu ke Pakode.

Made sweet-sour green chutney with Relish+cilantro+green chilli.

Bini...yesterday I made "Vegetarian Panang curry with Tofu" It was perfect spicy dish for winter...It is quite simple to make..and one more way to eat tofu...Do you like Thai food ? I will post recipe...Also let me know if you have registered id here.

Does Penang in 'Panang curry' meant to be Malaysian island you grew up?

Nope "Panang curry " is actually a dish from our neighbouring country..Thailand..
Thai foods have basic curries such as the Green curry n one of them is also Panang curry.
If u wana try out Penang dishes..check out the Penang restaurant in Chapel Hill..it comes close to the origin foods which we get back home..

Their desserts r good..esp Ice kacang n chendol..

Bini...This week tried one more simple stir fry recipe with Tofu.

Red radish+Green peas+tomatoes+Tofu stir fried with onion,green chilies,ginger - garnished with cilantro.

Yes...it is easy and healthy recipe...you may check on link also I will post here on AT.

Very good recipes on your blogs as well. As much as you like tofu, mushrooms are also a good addition to the mix including the various pakoras you make - since it's already tender it takes very little to no-time to cook. give a try.

Will be glad to see the recipe. I would love to try it. But i hate raddish because of its smell. Any tips to reduce/ completely remove that smell???

Dont use radish and the smell will be gone...
