The 45h annual CenterFest Arts Festival will be held on September 21-22, 2019 sponsored by the Durham Arts Council. CenterFest showcases juried visual artists from near and far, and fills multiple stages with music, dance, and more from local performers. Serious art shoppers will be dazzled by world-class ceramics, paintings, jewelry, fiber art, woodwork, and everything in between – much of it from Durham and Triangle-based creators. Singers, dance troupes, choirs, bands, jugglers, magicians, and performers of every stripe will provide continuous entertainment throughout the weekend. Kids will have a blast at the Creative Kids Zone, food vendors will keep guests fueled for fun, and Durham's inspiring nonprofit and government services sector will be on hand connecting with the community they serve. It all takes place in the heart of Durham's historic downtown, a hub of local businesses and foodie culture that elevates the visitor experience.
